Fun Facts

Global Warming

Average global temperatures increased by about 1 degree Celsius over the 20th century.

A World of Waste

Every year we dump a massive 2.12 billion tons of waste. If all this waste was put on trucks they would go around the world 24 times.

Aluminium Cans

Aluminium can be recycled over and over again, saving energy and natural resources – and reducing litter and waste. Every minute of every day, an average of 113,200 aluminium cans are recycled.

Drip Drop

If every household in America had a faucet that dripped once each second, 928 million gallons of water a day would leak away.
